Santa Monica firefighters brought a small dog back to life after the animal was tapped in a burning apartment fire earlier this week.

Officials performed CPR and provided oxygen through a mask. The fire had caused the dog to suffocate and lose consciousness.

The dog was unconscious for about 20 minutes and no humans were injured in the fire, KTLA reported.

Billy Fernando posted a live video on Facebook of the incident.
