The Boys & Girls Club of Kern County was awarded a $10,000 from the Ford Motor Fund.
The funds will be used to increase average daily attendance for middle school age members. The increased attendance will help keep them on track for high school.
Some of the 6th – 8th graders attended the presentation of the check on Thursday.
