One charge of unlawful sexual intercourse was filed against Marci Kindell Monday.

Detectives with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Sexual Assault and Abuse Investigations Unit began investigating allegations of an inappropriate sexual relationship between the instructional aide with the Kern High School District and a student.

The student attended a program at Vista West High School.

Kindell was arrested on December 8. Her arraignment is set for January 3.
