BAKERSFIELD, CA. — As small businesses handle the day to day struggles of the pandemic, a local storage company is doing their part of alleviate the weight.
Store More America in Delano is offering up to three months of free storage space to small business owners.
“We’re offering small businesses that have been affected by Covid-19 free storage that helps them waive store fees and get to the other side. That includes no up front costs. Come on down and we’ll help you move in for free," said Eli May, owner of Store More America.
The storage unit hopes this small gesture will encourage other companies, big or small, to offer help to small businesses during this time.
“As a small business owner we know how hard this is and how stressful it is out there and we do hope other businesses whether small or big help out it's the only way were going to get through this," said May.
