BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — COVID-19 has prompted some restaurants across the nation to close their doors, and has left others changing the way they serve their customers.

On Tuesday Fresco Mexican Grill in Downtown Bakersfield decided to transform their restaurant parking lot to an outdoor market, to help locals get more food items. Currently they are selling items such as chicken, rice, tomatoes, beans and other produce items. They also have cooked meals, water and toilet paper available for sale.

Fresco's outdoor market is open seven days a week from 12p.m. to 6p.m..

Patrons can also order food through their drive through, online and mobile app for takeout and delivery.
