BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Garces Memorial High School is ready to hold virtual summer school classes on June 1 should schools not be permitted to have students on campus.
According to Garces Memorial, summer school will be readily available no matter the situation.
The high school is offering a summer session for students entering fifth through 12th grades for the 2020-2021 academic year.
The summer curriculum is a combination of academic, athletic and enrichment classes.
Garces will offer 10-unit courses approved by the Kern High School District in math, science, social studies and Spanish.
For fifth through eighth graders two, two-week sessions will be available including math and modern language, STEM classes amongst others.
