BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — GET Bus is scheduled to hold a food distribution event in Central Bakersfield.
The event is meant to help provide food to those in the community who are in need. The food distribution will be held on Thursday, January 10 starting at 9 a.m. at 22nd Street and Eye Street in Central Bakersfield.
There will also be a resource fair at the food distribution event. GET Bus suggests those who want to receive food should bring a bag that can carry 70 pounds and up.
The event is in partnership with Self Help Federal Credit Union and Community Action Partnership of Kern Food Bank (CAPK Food Bank).
