Greenfield Union School District has placed Leslie Jenea Chance on paid administrative leave.

Chance was arrested Thursday in connection to the death of her husband Todd Chance in 2013. His body was found by a farm worker in Bakersfield. Investigators said he had been shot several times.

Leslie Chance served as a principal and transferred to a position as an Administrator on Assignment with non-student related administrative activities when law enforcement began the investigation in to Todd’s death in 2013.

The District stated it will not comment further at this time because it is an “ongoing personnel matter”.
