BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A Bakersfield landmark, the Noriega Hotel, is officially under new ownership.
Officials confirmed with 23ABC the sale of the restaurant and hotel in Old Town Kern was finalized Thursday. There is no word yet though when the hotel will reopen.
An estate sale scheduled for this weekend has been canceled.
The restaurant, which featured traditional Basque cuisine eaten at shared tables, had been in business for 89 years.
