LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators were called out to Lake Isabella Friday night.

According to KCSO officials, deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Fulop St. in Lake Isabella around 8:45 p.m. Friday.

The caller told dispatchers there was a person at a laundromat who was wanted for a previous crime.

Deputies were dispatched to the business and learned between the time of the call and their arrival people detained the man who was allegedly wanted for a crime.

By the time deputies arrived on scene, officials said the man was unresponsive.

Deputies initiated CPR and called for medical aid.

Medical aid responded and continued CPR, but pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Officials are investigating what happened between the time they were called and when they arrived.

Homicide detectives were called out as a precaution to determine if the man's death was criminal.

This is a developing story, we'll update it as more information is released by officials.
