Ten veterans got on a flight to go tour Washington D.C. for Honor Flight Kern County's last trip of the year.
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Another group of veterans got on a flight to Washington D.C. as part of Honor Flight Kern County's last trip of the year.
28 veterans went on a tour of the nation's capital just last week to see monuments built in their honor.
Veterans from WWII, Vietnam and Korean Wars as well as one Pearl Harbor survivor were sent off by friends and family this morning at Meadows Field Airport.
The organization is having their next fund raising event on Nov. 9.
