Jerry’s Pizza & Pub on Chester Avenue in Downtown Bakersfield is celebrating being in business for 25 years.

In celebration of the anniversary, Nuvibe Records will present "The BAKO Show” on Saturday.

Jerry's Pizza was named 1998's Best Restaurant in the Pizza category by the National Academy of Restaurant Evaluations for its original creamy garlic pizza sauce.

In addition, Jerry's Pizza and Pub is known throughout the United States as a place for rock bands to play.  Bands such as Korn, Weezer, Buck Cherry, and younger groups such as Panic at the Disco, The Millionaires, and many more have all played on the basement stage of Jerry's Pizza.
