A car dealership donated money to the local Boys and Girls Club on Monday, helping them attend a special holiday-themed day camp.
Jim Burke Lincoln raised money during their special grand opening event held earlier this year. On Dec. 11, they presented a check for $3500 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kern County.
The money will be used to provide scholarships to kids to help them attend the Boys and Girls Club's Winter Day Camp that is held from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.
The Boys and Girls Clubs' Day Camp programs provide experiences that include field trips, arts and crafts and outdoor games.
