BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County coroner has released the identity of the teen found dead in the Kern River on July 3.

Officials say 19-year-old Hugo Esquivel of San Bernadino was found dead in the Kern River at at Black Gulch South.

The body of 16-year-old Ivan Esquivel of San Bernardino County was pulled from the river on June 25.

A postmortem examination was performed on Hugo Esquivel and the cause and manner of death are pending.
