BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a homicide in South Bakersfield on Sunday, January 27.
According to deputies, 25-year-old Jose Ramon Deleon was found down near 1600 Mint Street with traumatic injuries and died at the scene. A postmortem examination will be conducted to determine his cause and manner of death.
Deputies say they are investigating this as a homicide.
