One arrested in Bolthouse Farms bomb threat

While conducting follow up investigation on a reported bomb threat at Bolthouse Farms, Detectives from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified 55-year-old Bakersfield resident Dwaine Powell as a possible suspect.

On February 6, 2016, Deputies served a search warrant in the 5100 block of La Pinta Maria Drive.

Bomb threat reported at Bolthouse Farms

Powell was contacted at the scene and taken in custody without incident.  

Powell was booked into the Central Receiving Facility on the charge of PC 148.1(c), making a false bomb report.
