The Kern County Sheriff’s Office Rosamond Substation will officially be closed.
Earlier in August, 23ABC learned that the substation could be closed due to budget cuts.
KCSO is looking for an alternate location to open a new substation in the area. Deputies assigned to the Rosamond area will operate out of the Mojave Substation.
