BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to KCSO two people who were stranded on a rock near the Lower Richbar area in the Kern River were rescued Friday afternoon.

Officials were able to bring both swimmers safely back to shore, according to KCSO.

Rescue crews are currently searching in the Lake Ming and Keysville area for the two people that's been missing since Thursday. Officials say there will be crews out all weekend searching for the two swimmers.
