BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Kern County Animal Shelter will be offering its spay and neuter clinic to residents in unincorporated areas of Kern County.

The Snip Bus Mobile Clinic will be stationed at 400 West Norris Road in Oildale at the end of this month.

Proof of residence is required for residents that live in the area. Officials with the shelter say the surgery will be done for free.

KCAS wants to remind those that attend that pets should not eat the morning of the surgery.

You can call 925-788-1763 to schedule an appointment.
