BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — (UPDATE) Tu-Spot found his furr-ever home!
(UPDATE): Tu-Spot is still looking for his fur-ever home after being in the shelter for over three months.
Officials say the effects of being in the shelter that long can be very difficult for a dog. They've noticed him getting hot spots on his paws and happy tail.
They say Tu Spot is very friendly, not a barker, and would be perfect in a family setting. His adoption has been sponsored so all he needs is to find a loving family.
On this week's Pet of the Week, we introduce you to Tu-Spot, a playful bully-mix looking for his fur-ever home.
Tu-Spot is a 2-year-old pup weighing in at around 50 pounds. If you're interested in a furry friend who loves to play with toys and run around, this is your guy.
If you're interested in taking Tu-Spot home, you can call the Bakersfield Animal Care Center at (661) 832-7387. His animal ID number is A118007.
