BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — In an emergency Kern County Fair Board meeting that lasted less than 10 minutes Wednesday, the fair board voted to approve five actions relating to funds and banking for the fair.
During the meeting, the board voted to authorize CEO Mike Olcott to sign Loan Documents up to $600,000.
Other items on the agenda focused on banking for the fair.
The board approved opening a new Bank account with Mission Bank, closing a current bank account with Wells Fargo Bank and transferring funds to Mission Bank. They also authorized Olcott to secure a credit card with Mission Bank to be used for purchasing, and authorizing new check signing delegation to Mission Bank.
The next Kern County Fair board meeting is scheduled for Monday June 15 at 5 p.m.
