BODFISH, Calif. (KERO) — The Kern County Fire Department is investigating the cause of multiple grass fires that threatened homes near the Bodfish area on Tues, June 27.
Kern County firefighters were able to stop the progress of the fires before any structures could be damaged or destroyed. Officials say the total area burned amounted to approximately eight acres of land.
According to the KCFD, no injuries were reported.
