UPDATE August 7, 10:57 a.m.: 

The Coroner's Office identified the body found near Hart Park as 30-year-old Frank Chester Davis. Davis went missing Saturday, August 4 just before 1 p.m.

A body was then located at Hart Park Monday afternoon. Tuesday, the body was identified as Davis.

Frank Davis of Bakersfield was swimming with friends and family Saturday when he became distressed and submerged under the water.

Kern County Search and Rescue crews have confirmed that they have located a body near Hart Park.

The body has not been identified as of yet.
