(UPDATE 2 P.M.) The Kern County Sheriff's Office confirmed the family has been safely located and is no longer considered missing.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding a missing family who was last seen in the Tehachapi area on Aug. 31.

KCSO said on Aug. 31, Katheryn Davis, 3, left Tehachapi with her children, Naomi Davis, 16, Matthew Davis, 15, Christine Davis,12, and Aiden Davis, 9. KCSO said it believes the family was possibly driving to an unknown location on the central coast with Katheryn's estranged husband, Rudy Davis.

They were last seen driving a white van with a utility trailer, but could also be in a white Chevrolet Silverado with Washington state license plates, according to KCSO.

They were expected home a few days later, but have not been contacted since leaving.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kern County Sheriff's Office at 661-861-3110.
