BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern Chapter of SkillsUSA is promoting a donation drive called “Change For Change” to raise money to buy kitchen goods for homeless veterans.

The drive supports veterans getting permanent housing at Veteran’s Village. Students at the Regional Occupational Center will be making donations to help the veterans for two weeks.

The donation drive will take place at the Regional Occupational Center in Bakersfield, located at 501 S. Mt Vernon Ave.
