ARVIN, Calif. (KERO) — California Highway Patrol are searching for the suspect in a hit and run crash that left one woman dead in Arvin overnight.

According to CHP, the collision took place on Sunset Blvd, east of Campus Dr. just after 10 p.m.
The suspect did not see a woman walking in the westbound lane and hit her. The driver then left the scene.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
