BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A group of local high schoolers honored our nation's veterans today by taking the Oath of Enlistment at the Kern County Veterans Memorial off Truxtun Avenue.

The group of high school seniors will be entering the army.

The Oath of Enlistment is something that every service member must promise and adhere to for thier entire military career.
