A magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook an area north of Ridgecrest Wednesday night.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the tremor hit around 9:14 p.m. 14 miles east-southeast of Little Lake. The quake had a depth of 7.6 kilometers.
