BAKERSFIELD -- The man accused of killing a 15-year-old girl is expected to be charged with first degree murder on Thursday.
According to Bakersfield Police, the body of the teenager was found in a detached garage at a home on Dore Drive at about 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Following an investigation, police arrested 23-year-old Gerardo Rodriguez.
In addition to murder, he was arrested on child abuse charges.
Rodriguez is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow afternoon.
