A man was found guilty today of first degree murder in the death of 34-year-old Andrea Russell.

Ruben Castro was arrested in connection with the disappearance and murder of Russell back in 2014.

Daniel Norzagary was also arrested and charged as an accessory. He pleaded no contest to both counts.

Andrea Russell disappeared before May 7 under suspicious circumstances, according to Sgt. Joe Grubbs with the Bakersfield Police Department.

Castro will be sentenced on June 7th.
