ARVIN, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the man involved in the officer involved shooting on Wednesday morning as 26-year-old Richard Posadas. Posadas was shot and died at the scene near 900 Wernli Court in Arvin.

A postmortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
