A big-rig crash in California City killed one person on September 11, 2016.
It occurred just after midnight on State Route 58 westbound, just east of Hyundai-Kia Boulevard.
The decedent was the operator of a big-rig truck that crashed into another big-rig truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
After a postmortem examination the decedent has not yet been positively identified and the cause and manner of death are pending.
