BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The man who was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Rexland Acres has been identified as 44-year-old Damendarell Emanuel Foreman.

Officials say Foreman was found in his car with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Kern Medical where he later died.

Investigators say the drive-by shooting happened on Garber Way between East Fairview Road and Malibar Avenue. The suspect was reportedly seen driving a white pick-up truck.

An examination was performed on Foreman and the cause of death is multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is homicide.
