Barrus was charged Wednesday with 14 counts of attempted homicide and two counts of accountability to attempt homicide.

A man who at one point lived in Bakersfield has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing a Montana deputy.
According to the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office, 62-year-old Lloyd Barrus, who apparently lived in Bakersfield in 2013, was arrested along with his 38-year-old son Marshall Barrus.
According to an ABC affiliate in Montana, Lloyd Barrus shot and killed deputy Mason Moore, who was a three-year veteran of the department.
Lloyd Barrus faces a charge of deliberate homicide. Marshall Barrus has been hospitalized with unknown injuries.
