BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A memorial service will be held today to honor the life of one of the founding members of the Bakersfield Safe Streets Partnership.
Daryl Thiesen passed away on February 8. He spent 25 years with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools. He was also a founding member of the Bakersfield Safe Streets Partnership, which aims to intervene in the lives of those most at-risk to gang and gun violence.
The memorial service will be held today, February 16, at 1 p.m. at The Bridge Bible Church, located at 12225 Stockdale Highway in Southwest Bakersfield.
