BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On July 24, North Bakersfield Toyota issued a letter detailing the closure of the location at 19651 Industry Parkway Drive due to the sale of the assets to another business entity.
This closure, according to the letter, will affect all employees at that location, laying them off, permanently.
The closure of this location is meant to take place on September 28 or within 14 days of that date.
On July 31, Western Orthodontics also issued a letter detailing layoffs due to the unforeseen impact of COVID-19 at their 1201 24th Street location.
Employee separations began August 1, this action is permanent.
