BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Starting Thursday you will probably spot the new "In God We Trust" decals on Bakersfield city officials cars.
On Wednesday officials announced that the City of Bakersfield’s Police and Fire Departments will begin applying the “In God We Trust” decals to marked city vehicles.
The decals were approved by the city council back in June.
An event to commemorate the decals is scheduled for Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
The event will be held at 1301 Buena Vista Road, between the Bakersfield Police Department Westside Substation and Bakersfield Fire Department Station 15.
