Several residents in Oildale say they are fed up with squatters living in their neighborhood and now they are reaching out to authorities and even on social media to get something done.
Highland Drive in Oildale is pretty quiet but two houses on this street seem to be causing a headache for some neighbors
Ed Walton and his wife are celebrating the eviction of previous squatters living across the street from their home but they say there is still work to be done.
"I'm glad that the people are gone, but there is still pet feces all through the house, piles literally at least maybe a foot high," Walton said.
Today city officials came to the house across the street from Walton and shut off the water. They also put up a do not enter sign. Police asked residents if they see anyone inside the home to contact them immediately.
