Old Towne Pizza has been shut down by Kern County Public Health after rodent droppings were found in the guest area.
According to the Health Department's inspection report on June 25, rodent droppings were found in the guest seating area, in the dry storage and behind the cash register. One dropping was found on the base of the dough mixer.
According to the report, the "facility operator failed to demonstrate the basic knowledge of sanitation."

The business received a score of 69 percent on the June 25 report. That came just weeks after getting a 100 percent during an inspection on June 11.
The restaurant is located at 20430 Brian Way #5 in Tehachapi.
The restaurant was shut down earlier in June for similar violations.
