UPDATE: Power restored to most PG&E customers in Southwest Bakersfield, around 190 without power still

(UPDATE 8:17 p.m.) PG&E has restored power to most customers in Southwest Bakersfield. The utility is still reporting 193 customers without power.


(UPDATE 5:52 p.m.) PG&E is reporting that 1,473 customers are still without power as crews work to repair an outage in Southwest Bakersfield.

According to the PG&E outage map, the cause of the outage is still unknown.

PG&E estimates power will be fully restored by 6:15 p.m.


Over 2,900 customers are without power Monday evening as PG&E reports several outages in the Southwest Bakersfield area.

According to the PG&E, 2922 are without power in the areas of Ming Avenue to District Boulevard, and Old River Road to Ashe Road.

PG&E reported the outage around 4:52 p.m. Crews are already on scene investigating the cause and attempting to restore power.

Power is expected to be restored around 6:45 p.m.
