BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Westside Parkway off-ramp to Truxtun Avenue will be closed overnight on Tuesday as crews work to place concrete barrier rail along the roadway.

The closure is scheduled to last from 9 p.m. Tuesday until 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Drivers in the area will need to exit the freeway at Mohawk Street and use Truxtun Avenue to continue eastbound while work is underway. This work will not affect westbound traffic.

Officials said the barrier rail will remain in place until all other phases of Centennial Corridor project are completed in 2022.
