BAKERFIELD, Calif. — (UPDATE: 10:50 p.m.) PG&E is reporting is has restored power to most of East Bakersfield.
The utility is reporting that over 200 customers are still without power. The cause of the outage is still under investigation.
PG&E reported a power outage Thursday night affecting around 2,200 customers in East Bakersfield.
According to the PG&E outage website, the outage began around 9:21 p.m. PG&E said it does not know what caused the outage at this time.
Crews are en route to assess the outage.
PG&E is reporting an estimated restoration time of around 12:30 a.m. Friday.
