Police are searching for a suspect following a shooting in Southwest Bakersfield last night, leaving 1 man wounded. 

Officers responded to the scene on Parkwood Court near Belle Terrace and Stine Road around 9:00 p.m.. after reports of multiple shots fired. 

When they arrived, they found a male suffering minor injuries from a gunshot would to his lower leg. 

He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
