The 2018 annual security report breaks down the type of crimes and the instances that occurred on campus from 2015-2017.

In it, it shows there were four reported rapes on the CSUB campus. Those rapes occurred on campus housing, according to the report. There were zero reported rapes the previous two years.

The report also shows 12 reported burglaries on campus over the three-year period with seven in 2015, one in 2016 and four in 2017.

The report also shows no hate crimes reported from 2015-2017.

In the report, new CSUB president Lynnette Zelezny said: "CSUB is committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive campus community for our students, faculty, staff and visitors.  I encourage each of you to read the report carefully and familiarize yourself with the available resources on our campus.  We each play a key role in keeping our campus community safe."
