RIDGECREST, Calif. (KERO) — The city of Ridgecrest says they are working to build a community pool after a recent survey of area residents.

The city says they have applied for a grant that would allow them to build a new pool at the location of the old pool site. They'll know whether or not they've received the grant later this summer.

In the meantime they are looking into other ways to fund the construction.
