"Rock the Vote Roadrunners" held at Cal State Bakersfield to encourage students to register to vote

Students at California State University, Bakersfield were encouraging other students to register to vote Tuesday. The group set up a booth on campus that gave out free snack to entice students to sign up. The group said last year they registered about 71% and this year they're trying to raise it up to 100%.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Students at California State University, Bakersfield hosted "Rock the Vote Roadrunners" Tuesday.

The group set up a booth on campus encouraging students to register to the vote.

The group enticed students to register by offering free food and snacks.

February 18, is the last day to register to be eligible to vote in the primary election on March 3.
