BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Save Mart store located on Hageman Road in Northwest Bakersfield announced it is back open for business after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Out of an abundance of caution, the store was temporarily closed Wednesday when the company was notified that an employee tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. This led to the store's precautionary closing for disinfecting and cleaning.

The store has been thoroughly disinfected, cleaned and sanitized.

The store reopened at 8 a.m. Thursday with its normal hours of operation.
