UPDATE JULY 31: 

Sequoia tweeted announcing a tentative open date for the new location.

"Did you know?! We're adding a fourth location in Bakersfield! The deli will open in late 2018 at the corner of Buena Vista Rd. and Bolthouse Drive (entrance to the Seven Oaks Business Park). Stay tuned for updates"

Sequoia Sandwich Company continues to expand its legacy in Bakersfield.

An employee at the downtown location confirms with 23ABC that a fourth location will be opening on Buena Vista Road. An opening date was not announced at this time.

The employee also tells 23ABC that a fifth location is expected to open in San Luis Obispo soon.

This news comes after Sequoia went under new ownership.
