BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Today the Bakersfield Board of Zoning Adjustment will have a meeting discussing the fate of a local hotel in Southwest Bakersfield that went up for auction last year after it foreclosed.
The board's meeting agenda, the 183-room Days Inn hotel on Real Road may be rezoned and converted into a new assisted living facility.
The proposed facility will contain 149 beds for residents.
City staff is recommending approval, the board will make its decision during heir meeting at 3 p.m., at 1501 Truxton Ave.
