The City of Bakersfield approved Studio Movie Grill in Northwest Bakersfield to sell alcohol.
The decision, announced Tuesday afternoon, will allow the business to sell alcohol to moviegoers.
This is the first movie theater in Bakersfield to get approval for selling alcohol.
